Porters Quartet are a four piece jazz ensemble comprising saxophone, double bass, drums and piano, a classic set up for easy listening, cool up-tempo, soft ballads and classic jazz standards that will set the tone for your garden party, your wedding reception, your company event or your birthday party. 

We are a group of experienced and professional musicians who play with passion, flair and style; happy to provide a background ambience tucked away in a corner or as a centrepiece of your event. We'll dress up (or down) for the occasion as required and we don't take up much room! We pride ourselves on a great sound - playing neither too loudly nor too quietly according to where we're playing and who we're playing for.  

When you're planning your big day (or your medium or small day) you'll find us easy to talk to, enthusiastic about your plans and we'll fit in with what you want.  

How about the cost? When you contact us, we'll ask you where and when your event is and how long you'd like us to play for and we'll quote you an all-inclusive amount. We're not the most expensive, nor are we the least expensive, but when it comes to playing great music, we reckon we're just right.
